The training team
Work closely with all directorates to develop their training plans and provide support and advice for all training and development requirements and are responsible for:
- training needs analysis
- core essential training for specific roles and responsibilities
- co-ordination and delivery of training
- commissioning of training through our learning and skills framework
- digital skills training and support
- health and safety training
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training
Learning and Development System team
Support all training and development activities for the council and our partner organisations and are responsible for:
- being the central point of contact for all learning and development related enquiries
- managing the central budget for mandatory, legal and compliance training
- managing the Learning Management System (LMS)
- promoting and providing online bookings for training events for all employees and partners
- recording, evaluating and providing training related data for directorates and services, and KPI’s
