Carers support network
How to get involved with and join the carers support network who support employees who have caregiving responsibilities.
We work together to support employees who have caregiving responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to those who care for elderly parents, children with disabilities, or loved ones with chronic illnesses.
Our mission
We aim to:
- provide a supportive community – creating a safe space where carers can connect, share experiences, and access emotional and practical support
- advocate for workplace flexibility – working with leadership to promote policies that recognise and accommodate the unique challenges of caregivers
- raise awareness – educating colleagues and management on the realities of caregiving, breaking down stigma, and fostering empathy
- enhance wellbeing – encouraging work-life balance, mental health support, and self-care to prevent burnout
- share resources and knowledge - offering access to valuable information on workplace benefits, external support services, and best practices for managing caregiving responsibilities alongside work
Together, we strive to create a workplace where caregivers feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive both professionally and personally.
