Change resilience
Change impacts everyone differently, from being a motivator and energiser to some, through to exhausting and something to be endured by others. Understanding other’s reaction to change helps you to become more resilient. You will be more able to recognise and respond effectively to stress levels.
Do you know how change affects you? What is your internal dialogue regarding change?
The ability to reduce your own stress levels as opposed to waiting for someone else to do it is important, because change is often accompanied by stress that can affect you both at work and at home.
There is no “one size fits all”. Understanding your own and others’ response to change enables you to be kinder to yourself and to others and to know what the best next steps might be.
